Productivity Tip of the Week

Stick to a routine as much as possible. Try everything you can to not get out of your habits- we are closing in on the first quarter of 2022 and this is when those overzealous new years goals start to lose their appeal and we start slacking off! Spring is officially here in North Carolina, and it’s actually easier for me now to stay motivated because the weather is improving.  Today, March 20th, is the first official day of Spring. If you are someone who is motivated by “fresh starts”, make this one yours!! Any goals or habits you want to start, make today your first day. What better time to make new goals than the first day of Spring?!

Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week

If you haven’t yet downloaded a Habit app to track your daily or weekly habits, I highly recommend it! I have used my Habit tracker app every single day since December and it really keeps me accountable.  I aim for 100% habits daily, and although I only actually hit that once a week on average, it gives me a goal every day and keeps me motivated to get everything done. 

Outfit Favorites of the Week

This past week was chilly here, and I wore my leather jacket anytime I went out for dinner or to see friends.  I also have worn my Golden Goose sneakers when we go anywhere so those are definitely a favorite from the week. These shoes have gotten even more comfortable the more I wear them which makes me really happy considering the hefty price tag- I am still loving them so much!

Books I’m Loving

I’m still reading the 8 part series from Lucy Score called Blue Moon and I’m loving it so far.  It’s 8 novels, all over 300 pages and super cute, light books to read.  I finished book 1 “No More Secrets (Blue Moon Book 1)” this week and gave it 7/10. I’m now on to the second book and love it just as much! These are perfect pool and beach reads which makes me really excited for summer!

Anything Else I have to tell you! 

I am slacking so bad with my running goal! I ran once so far in March- and I did a mile with no issue.  It’s crazy to me that I’ve gotten so much better at running and I’m so excited about my 10 miles a month goal for 2022.  With 11 days left in March, I’m excited to get back into it this week.  10 miles a month is such a small goal, but that’s why I love it.  I will definitely hit 10 miles a month every month, but it allows me to take time off since I’m not always in the mood to be active.  That is such an important factor in making goals for yourself. Make the goals bite sized because what matters is your daily efforts, not being “the best” every single day.
