Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dupes
This year, I am only buying a flannel and the barefoot dreams cardigan. I do recommend a few pieces to splurge on, but I will let you know and show the dupes to all of them anyways for you to shop!
Spanx Leather Leggings
No question about this one- I SPLURGED 3 years ago and got a pair. I actually bought my first pair from Poshmark used because I didn’t think they would be worth the price, and wore them so much I bought a second pair from the Nordstrom sale last year! I sized up to a Small instead of XSmall, because if they are too tight and are too stretched out, they aren’t as shiny! I 100% can vouch that these are LIFE-CHANGING and they have been my Thanksgiving pants for 3 years in a row lol. They are so comfy and so adorable and I love the versatility of wearing them out with booties and a nice top, or wearing them casual with sneakers and a t-shirt!
I am really excited about the dupes linked below from Target… they are the ones on the farthest right and they are from the Spanx line but made for Target for only $40. These would be the dupes I would go with!
Mules
The Steve Madden mules are such a hit the past 2 years and they look SO adorable on, so I totally understand why. If you work in an office, or if you love wearing mules, I highly recommend getting some like these with the gold chain detail to dress them up! I got the DUPES because they are 15% off when you sign up for email, so the price was just unbeatable! I actually prefer the dupes because they are vegan leather (they also have suede) and the Steve Madden ones from Nordstrom only come in suede for the tan color.
Booties with Gold Chain
I am loving this gold chain trend so much for fall and winter! I love a good fancy detail like this to dress up an otherwise plain outfit, so when I saw these I had to have them! Since they are more of a statement piece that may or may not be cute in 4 years, I got the DUPES. I also used my 15% off code for the dupe booties when I purchased the mules. I also love the dupe color way more than the Steve Madden colors of cognac and black.
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan
I tried to buy this last year during the sale, but they sold out within minutes of me putting it in my cart! These cardigans never go on sale, and I am choosing to SPLURGE on this cardigan during this sale! I did find TONS of dupes, however, that kind of made me want to change my mind, and I linked them all that had great reviews and mentioned the barefoot dreams specifically! I just know that I would personally rather get the real deal on sale because it’s something I wear daily in the house and in the office to keep me warm.
Pajama Sets
Okay I would 100% buy the DUPES for these pajamas! I own about 6 pair (not exaggerating) of the short sleeve and shorts pajama set linked below from Target, and I have washed and worn them for YEARS literally and they are still soooo soft and cozy! This year, I just bought the Target long sleeve nightgown instead of the Nordstrom, because I was planning on splurging on the Nordstrom nightgown. I know I made the right decision because it is so dreamy soft and lightweight!
Flannel
I surprised myself with this one because I am choosing to SPLURGE on the Urban Outfitters one linked below in the Nordstrom sale. I don’t think the sale price is all that expensive anyways, but this one totally depends on how much you wear flannels! I love wearing them but I’ve always had cheaper ones from Old Navy that don’t feel as soft and don’t fit like I want them to. This one is super oversized and has gotten amazing reviews about how soft it is, so I know it would be a staple in my closet!
Casual Sneakers
I have personally never liked the Golden Goose shoes before. Not only because they retail for $500-$650, but also because they come scuffed and dirty looking and I just don’t like wearing dirty, scuffed shoes. ***UPDATE: after viewing some GG shoes, I found some I love called “Pure Star”, but still wouldn’t pay the extra $250 just to have the brand name*** However, I think they look adorable with dresses and shorts in the summer, and they will last you YEARS and you can wear them year round. I wanted a pair of off-white (but the same time, white) shoes with a little fancy detailing that were comfy and leather and still looked nice but didn’t look necessary dirty. And then I happened to come across these while I was browsing the Nordstrom Anniversay sale, and I fell in love with them! They are PERFECT with an off white, but CLEAN sole, a white leather outside with light grey suede detailing, and the tongue of the shoes add the perfect amount of neutral metallic color and texture. My favorite part, though, is the sparkly detail on the tongue of the shoe where the brand name is. I died when I tried them on too- they have a terrycloth inside to keep your feet warm and dry, and they are SO COMFY. I have already worn them the rest of the day and I’m never going back to sandals for a day out!
So- the verdict is to buy the DUPE, but I also consider these sneakers to be a SPLURGE brand! They are made in Italy and are really nice shoes with a $300 price tag. For the Nordstrom sale, they are marked down to $200!
